Michael’s dating advice show has been canceled! Oh no! And with his final episode, he’d like to do one “simple” thing. Define love. Over the course of this 60 minute show, Michael and the audience will form a polycule and figure out how to define the undefinable word and maybe find some solace in what to do when it ends (or answer if it can end at all??).
Michael Oakes is a stand up comedian and actor from Sault Ste Marie, MI. Their work has been done all over the city, most recently with The Olde School Shakespeare Collective, Factory Theatre, and Rhino Fest. This is one of 3 solo shows Michael has written or performed over the years, the others being Make Misstakes (as part of 2025 Rhino Fest) and 5 Minutes of Vulnerability (which had a 5 week run at the Redtwist Theatre). They love to talk love, grief, and Tenet (2020). Come say hi :)
- General admission seating. Doors open 30 minutes before start.
- Show will run 60 minutes without intermission.
- Entire venue is fully accessible.
- Cash and Venmo/Zelle sales at the door if tickets are still available.
- Dining available downstairs before/after the performance. Drinks can be brought into theater.
- Free parking in nearby lot and surrounding streets. Metered on Lincoln (No meters on Sunday).
