Solo Sunday Presents:
"Unpacked: Life, Love, and Everything In Between"
By Simi Krishnan
Sunday, November 8th 2026 @ 3:00 PM
Mrs. Murphy & Sons Irish Bistro (3905 N Lincoln)
What happens when life refuses to follow the plan? In UNPACKED, Simi Krishnan opens a single suitcase and unpacks an extraordinary life—one filled with immigration, identity, motherhood, love, devastating loss, illness, resilience, and the unexpected humor that somehow survives it all. Through treasured objects, letters to her younger self, conversations with the many versions of who she’s been, and stories that are as hilarious as they are heartbreaking, Simi invites audiences into a deeply personal journey that ultimately becomes universal. Blending heartfelt storytelling with sharp wit and genuine vulnerability, UNPACKED reminds us that while life rarely goes according to plan, our stories have the power to transform us. Because sometimes the bravest thing we can do is unpack the life we’ve been carrying. “Plans fail. Stories survive.”
Simi Krishnan is a storyteller, speaker, and strategist whose work explores resilience, identity, and the power of sharing our stories.
